PROJECTED BEAM SMOKE DETECTORS are uniquely suited for protecting large, open areas with high ceilings. Plus, they are ideal for providing early warning where temperature extremes (-22°F to 131°F) exceed the capability of other types of smoke detection! Each model is a 4-wire, conventional, single-ended smoke detector. And, the DDPBEAM1224S is equipped with an integral sensitivity test feature that allows the user to quickly and easily meet the annual maintenance and test requirements of NFPA 72®.
