    Outside Territory Account Manager

    Brooks Equipment is seeking an Outside Territory Manager to travel up to a 300 mile radius of our multiple warehouse locations. Possible positions are available in the following markets: Houston & Dallas, TX., Chicago, IL., San Francisco, CA., Orlando & Miami Fl., Atlanta, GA., Edison, NJ., Cincinnati, OH., Baltimore, MD. Some minimal overnight travel would be required on a quarterly basis. Candidate must have skills to interact with various purchasing personalities such as C-Level Executives, Purchasing Agents, Fire Suppression Managers, and field technicians. The Territory Manager will be expected to analyze and blueprint new business opportunities from an established account base. Face to face visits will be made each week, along with some cold calling on potential new business. Appointment setting and follow up phone calls will be required on a weekly basis. The Territory Manager will use a CRM customer database to enter in pertinent information about account activity and follow up opportunities. Sales trend analysis will be required along with account growth activity tracking. Weekly reporting to the Sales Manager in Charlotte, NC will be required along with fluid communication and conference calls.


    Skill Requirements:

    • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis in Excel and CRM
    • Strong organizational skills
    • 2-5 years minimum Sales experience in a similar related field such as Public Safety, Fire Equipment, Alarm or Sprinkler Sales
    • Ability to troubleshoot for customers and suggest solutions
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills will all levels of management and other departments
    • Candidate must be self-motivated and self-managing from a remote location


    Inside Sales Account Manager

    Brooks Equipment is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to work in a fast paced environment. Applicant must be enthusiastic and have a minimum of 2 years sales experience, possess strong communication and computer skills, be organized and have the ability to multi-task. Duties include receiving 100 + inbound calls/emails per day, processing orders, and promoting and securing new business via inbound and outbound calls. Other duties include assisting customers in product selections, preparing price quotations, checking delivery dates and other service related items for an established customer base. The desire to grow an existing customer base with superior sales tactics is a must. Cold calling is not required.


    Skill Requirements:

    • Type a minimum of 50 words per minute
    • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Sales minded attitude
    • Ability to troubleshoot for customers and suggest solutions
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills with all levels of management and other departments
