    Position Description:

    The Inside Sales Account Manager will be responsible for account growth, relationship building (internal as well as customers), educating customers about our services and products, making and/or exceeding sales goals, and making and/or exceeding daily outbound call goals.

    Responsibilities:

    - Sell. The Inside Sales Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to build relationships with each customer in their account base and sell our products and services.
    - Educate. Each Inside Sales Account Manager will be responsible for educating our customer base on our many product lines.
    - Study. Inside Sales Account Managers will be required to continually educate themselves about our different product lines and services.
    This will involve attending in house training classes on the different products and services that we provide.
    - Sales Tracking-Inside Sales Account Managers should know at any time the status of a particular customer or happenings within their account base.
    - Outbound Focus. Inside Sales Account Managers are required to make good use of their assigned outbound calling time each day while additionally taking the initiative to call out throughout the day as time allows.
    - Research/ Customer Service Skills. Always treat the customer’s concerns as primary focus. Take the time to research all problems to ensure the best outcome for both Brooks Equipment and our customers.
    - Proper Record Keeping. All notes must be entered in both Dynamic Connect & CRM for proper communication purposes.
    - Teamwork. Management appreciates and welcomes all feedback on how we can better our company.

    - Clearly express thoughts and ideas verbally and in writing.
    - Understand and respect the chain of command in management and follows this chain.
    - Always represent Brooks Equipment by the highest standards when working with our customer base, Team members and sister companies.
    - Maintain a positive demeanor.
    - Other duties as assigned by manager.


    Required Skills:

    • Effective communication skills

    • Systems understanding (CRM, etc)
    • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
    • Type a minimum of 50 words per minute
    • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve for customers and suggest solutions
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills with all levels of management and other departments
    • Strong leader and motivator of teammates
    • Previous sales experience
    • Show initiative and a drive to excel
    • Strong work ethic
