Sealed Lead Acid (SSLA) Battery Recycling

What is a Sealed Lead Acid Battery?

Lead-acid batteries are commonly used for automobiles, boats, and outdoor power equipment, as well as emergency Lights and Fire Alarms. They are the oldest type of rechargeable batteries, and consist of lead plates that are immersed in electrolytes. They also include separators between the positive and the negative plates to prevent short-circuiting.
