Since NiCad battery packs come in a variety of configurations, replacements are sold without connectors. Therefore, it’s important to clip off the connector from the old battery to reattach as the connector on new battery you are installing. With the right tools, it’s simple to reattach or “splice” the connector to the replacement battery pack.
