This Colt™ 4" lead-free REDUCED PRESSURE DETECTOR BACKFLOW PREVENTER ASSEMBLY is ideal for protection at cross-connections identified as health hazards, such as fire sprinkler systems and from contaminants found at the service line entrance. Its compact modular design is approved for horizontal N-pattern installation and consists of a stainless steel body with quick access sleeve, torsion spring check valves, grooved gear operated butterfly valves with tamper switch, test cocks and a corrosive-resistant bottom-mounted pressure relief valve. It comes furnished with a GPM meter to detect underground leaks and unauthorized water use and contains an integrated flood sensor, with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
