This Colt™ 6" lead-free REDUCED PRESSURE DETECTOR BACKFLOW PREVENTER ASSEMBLY is ideal for protection at cross-connections identified as health hazards, such as fire sprinkler systems and from other contaminants found at the service line entrance. Its compact modular design is approved for horizontal Z-pattern installation and consists of a stainless steel body with a quick access sleeve, torsion spring check valves, grooved gear operated butterfly valves with tamper switch, test cocks, and a corrosive-resistant bottom-mounted pressure relief valve. It comes furnished with a CFM meter to detect underground leaks and unauthorized water use and contains an integrated flood sensor, with SentryPlus Alert® technology, to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
