Designed ideally for use on combustible metal fires, Amerex® CLASS D DRY POWDER FIRE EXTINGUISHERS are fitted with a "soft-flow" extension applicator to keep operators away from extreme heat and toxic fumes caused by burning material. The applicator can be quickly removed (to provide a straight stream of chemical) when greater range, a narrow discharge pattern, or a lobbing effect is required. Comes with a special corrosion-resistant yellow (Class D) color-coded paint finish. FM approved.
