8" Ames 3000SS Series Double Check Detector Assembly. Offers a single Victaulic style cover that makes servicing quick and easy. This device is less gates and has flanged ends. The compact size allows for a short lay length which makes it ideal for installation in tight spaces or a great option to replace an older valve in a retrofit application. The valve is light weight and corrosion resistant due to its stainless steel construction. Bypass assembly to meter water usage. Bypass meter available in gallons or cubic feet. Available in sizes 2 1/2 - 12". The device is testable and shall be tested in compliance with your local code. Maximum working pressure of 175psi
